I personally like the remix a tad more because of the nicer drum sound, but the album itself isn't among Katatonia's strongest IMO.

Don't think I've heard the remix to be honest. I'll have to get on that. I agree with you that it's not one of their strongest though it does have some damn good songs nonetheless.

Solid. Start with Vanden Plas. AOTY for me so far. ARP and HoL were both solid, just what you'd want/expect from them. Vanishing Point was better than I expected from them. Liking it a lot.

Don't know Overland or RoF. I haven't giving Iron Savior a chance yet either, because I'm pretty certain if I do, it's going to cost me a discography. Overall, I give you an A- on that haul.

I'm not sure, honestly. I'm buying both blind with no Epica or Delain knowledge other than like minded fans on here seem to like them both quite a bit.

Delain appears to have some live stuff on the second disc:
