Early arrivals! Tonight's gonna be fun!

I believe I will find all of these in my Dad's record collection when I get it sent to me.  That ELPowell record was my jam when I was 9. :tup

I didn't even know of its existence until last year in gazinwales' top albums thread. Gave it a listen and was floored, couldn't pass it up when I saw it on discogs.

Titans of Creation is one of the best records I've heard all year, metal or otherwise. :2metal:

I only picked up FreeFall III, and Firewind (which was much better than I expected - Herbie's voice sometimes gets on my nerves). Dynazty was good, just so much more of the same from them.  Warbringer was good ... then the vocals kicked in.  I haven't really tried to explore Vega, but maybe this is my reason to give them a go.

I don't think you'd like Vega too much mate.  They are pretty poppy melodic rock, but I've been a fan since the first album and just love their sound.  The Dynazty I only got because they had it, I haven't followed their last couple that much so just a good excuse to get back into them.  I knew you'd think that about the Warbringer lol.

I love these two albums. Tangled in Reins is such a fun album to listen to. Late to the party is a rocking tune.

Had a few albums come in this week. I ordered the Christian Münzner records back in March... right as COVID shut down international shipping. Germany didn't start sending orders out until the middle/end of September but I finally got them! The Fractured Dimension is some really awesome instrumental prog metal from one of my favorite keyboardists, Jimmy Pitts.

I don't know where else I can share this. Last night, I got a real weird craving to hear Nazareth's Hair of the Dog album. So I ordered the CD this morning. I don't think I've heard this entire album in 30 years.  :lol

I may be reverting to my childhood as I get more age senility.  :lol

There's a great 'best of' on Spotify - Nazarath Anthology (38 tracks).  Not sure if it was an actual release, or something Spotify put together.  Really nice listen.

Last year, PetFish created a thread where he was parting with his DT-related collection of music. He had the prices figured out but you could make him an offer and he would consider it. He's in Canada and I'm in Russia, so I figured the shipping costs are going to kill me. In the end, shipping ended up to be ~$20, so my offer was $55 (without shipping, so $75 total) for signed LTE1, signed LTE2 and Live Scenes from New York with original Two Towers cover (I know, it's a low price, but that was what I could afford at the time). He kindly agreed.

He sent me the package on September 20th, 2019. It has never arrived, I didn't get any notifications that it was in my post office, and I went there and asked several times. No dice. No track number for the package, either.

Come March 11th, 2020, the package was returned back to PetFish. By then, Covid was in full swing I guess, and there was no way to ship the package to Russia again. Months passed, and finally on November 3rd, 2020 he was able to send it to my address again. Today, it has arrived (with two additional CDs he threw in just to make my day I suppose). :)

PetFish, I sent you an e-mail, but in case you will also read this - you rock big time. Thank you! :metal

The photo ended up being a bit blurry, but I'm too excited to take another. You get the idea.

This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.
