Burn Notice Season 4 Discussion! (also appreciation)
« on: July 22, 2009, 08:45:26 AM »
So I know Dimitrius and Scurvy are also fans, and I decided to make a thread about this awesome spy show. I discovered this show by accident last summer. Since then, I've seen every episode, and it has fast become one of my favorite shows. Far from all the other crime shows plagueing the TV, this one is far more action-packed and badass. I'm not bored to death by science. Instead, I'm treated to displays of spy work, making makeshift listening devices and bombs

I watched every episode until I missed the Season II finale and never saw a commercial that Season 3 was starting so I've missed those too.  :'(

I need my yogurt damnit!

F*** I just saw this on CNN:

Apparently, Jeffrey Donovan (Michael Weston), was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. Story here

That stinks.

The officer asked Donovan if he had anything to drink and he answered, "I had three drinks at the Fountainebleau", according to the affidavit. Atleast he was honest about it.

That story leaves out that he had taken some Benadryl as well.

Is it sad that while reading that article, I imagined all of this happening as a ruse for Michael Westen to get the best of a dirty cop or something?

Like, he'll stagger out of the car slurring, "I just had three drinks at the Fountainebleau" and then all of a sudden he's got the cop in a headlock, guiding him toward the trunk of his car....

I love Jeffrey Donovan and his character, but the supporting cast is probably what keeps me from watching this.  It has great action, though, and Donovan's narration makes it a lot more interesting, too.

I don't see a post after PLM's, but I feel like someone just disrespected Bruce Campbell. Nah, that can't be true.

Mr. Neccy, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Not really, just the character.  I'd probably consider him the exception, though, anyways.  And it wasn't disrespect.

I didn't start watching until season 2.  Mostly because of Gabrielle Anwar being not hot.  Why would I want to watch an ugly chick for an hour?

She's not that ugly.

I watch the show because of Donovan and Campbell anyway

Yeah, she seemed really ugly in all the ads, but I've gotten used to her.  She definitely has her moments.

But Michael and Sam are awesome enough for me to ignore her if I have to anyway.

I wanna give that show a try but the main character's face make me wanna puke.
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.

I'm no gay but Jeffrey Donovan is an example of a very well set up man.

Love the show, watch the episodes as they become available on hulu or the usa network website.

Tonight, Supernatural returns at 9 and Burn Notice returns at 10.

Thursday night TV is about to kick some serious ass for the next few months.

The rest of this season is going to be killer. I think Gilroy may top Carla as one of the most evil people on TV

Has everyone been keeping up?

Anyway, I bumped because I saw this on twitter from jeffrey donovan:

Travelling to NYC for Regis & Kelly. Plus USA/ Vanity Fair are honoring 10 incedible characters . R&K is Wednesday. Then To MIAMI! For BN4!

So there's definitely a Season 4 for this summer :metal

I don't think there was doubt, storywise, that there's another season.

I've watched every episode so far! Great to see Nate Westen back, though I wished he had had more screen time!!
