Favorite Epic Soundtracks?
« on: February 16, 2013, 03:19:49 PM »
What are some good epic soundtracks? Basically anything that gets you pumped up. It could be video game, movie, etc. Thanks.

Two that immediately come to mind -
Transformers: The Movie by Vince DiCola (and other various artists)
Tron: Legacy by Daft Punk (while not epic in the PUMPED UP sense, it's an amazing sound track nonethelss)

-Marc.

dammit, you're making me reveal some of what would ultimately go on my top 50 albums list (if I ever did one, but I probably won't.)

Empire Strikes Back (2-CD version)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (2008 release)
Jurassic Park-The Lost World
Lord of the Rings- Return of the King
Kung Fu Panda 2 (not kidding)
Stargate (the movie, not the TV series)
Mulan (the orchestral part, not the Disney songs part, but they come on the same album)
The Matrix Revolutions
Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan

There are probably some that I'm forgetting right now, but these are the major ones.

Agree that Tron Legacy is a very good soundtrack.
