I only have a few people from here as my FB friends currently, so I don't think many of you have seen this cover of Surrounded (from idunnowhen) before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVIsx4CfBVw

It's played by a house band of a Finnish talk show; the guitarist/singer Marzi Nyman and keyboardist Lenni-Kalle Taipale are well-known talented musicians in Finland, but thanks to Marzi's vocal performance I don't think this sounds particularly good! :-\ Playing guitar and singing at the same time on a DT song must be really difficult, so forgetting the lyrics can be justified, but his vocal range just isn't high enough for singing this kind of music.

My first thought was that the guitarist looks quite a bit like Elite.

Also, holy crap fucked up lyrics. :lol

EDIT: Why does he try to headbang during the verse riff? :rollin

What occurred to me was that Surrounded is such an amazing song that it is still hard to turn off even when butchered this badly.

I liked it. OK, Marzi's vocals are average, but raise your hand, if you can play guitar in 9/8 and sing at the same time. Also he nailed the solo.
