ACURA Fans of DT
« on: February 10, 2013, 10:50:10 AM »
My wife and I own several cars. She has her love for all things Porsche and I have a mid-life crisis car of my own (having gotten rid of everything else for my Quattro now) But our family vehicles have long and always will be Acura's. We presently own four of them. I was perusing the Acura website today because I have been "jonesing" now for what seems like forever for the release of the NSX ( I want this car badly). After drooling over my keyboard looking at the online pics (hey...don't judge...you have your porn, I have mine) I started looking at the pics for the Acura RLX, due out sometime in 2014; and I came across this interior photo:

 https://www.acura.com/future/RLX#6

Sweet!!! Someone at Acura obviously has good taste in music at least. Before everyone starts bitching about the song choice, I just wanted to point out that I've never seen DT in an ad until now. Kinda cool!

Carry on.

I dunno, I think the song choice points to them NOT being fans  :lol

Repost?
Yup.

I'd probably get out and "walk beside" any car where that song was playing, too ;)

I've got no beefs with that song.

Octavarium minus Panic Attack is only topped by SFAM for me.  Though the more I listen to 6DOIT (which I largely ignored) the more I like it... still think "I Walk Beside you" is better than "About to Crash" though.

"Panic Attack" is the best song on Octavarium.

I gotta say, I find that pretty weird. The fact that I know "About to Crash" reprises at the end is one of a handful of reasons I soldier through "Test that Stumped Them All" and "War Inside My Head".

6DOIT is not one of my favorite albums. it may even be my least listened to.  I'm trying to change that but the sheer cornyness of some of the tracks... ugh

When you made the comment about the song choice, I was half expecting to see Constant Motion (being that it is for a car).
