Dimension Act v. Manifestations of Progress
« on: February 09, 2013, 10:39:15 PM »
Thanks to Dr. DTVT's recommendation, a few of us on the board have bought this fantastic debut. Most of us that have have really enjoyed it. I certainly know that when I listen to the album, the hour just passes in a instant. Since there isn't a thread yet, I think that we need a place to discuss this band with such extremely high potential.

WE DRAW THE LIIIIIIIIINNNNEESSS!!!

Edit: This is my 2112th post

WE ARE THE PRIESTS, OF THE TEMPLES, OF SYRINX!!!

This is my first time hearing them, but they sound good so far (just listening to Uncharted Waters right now).

I would have to say that my favorite part of the album is Pre-Spective from 1:20 to 2:35. It just exudes good vibes and positivity.

Pre-Spective also seems to give a nod to Uncharted Waters at 3:14. The chorus melody of Uncharted Waters and the guitar line are pretty similar.

Dimension Act is good people.  Although I think it made my "check out" list from jrundquist's 2012 review thread.
Winger would be better!
