DSO or Frost* had the chance to win the round as well, but this is the first band in this roulette I haven't even heard of, and it's relatively recent, and it kicks as much ass as these accomplished bands already so I just had to award the other Rich all six points. This song is so good I can almost see the rest of the album being relatively unexciting tell me it ain't so.

The next round is about vocalists, and just so I could avoid 7 people sending me Ayreon, no Arjen please Just send me someone who's really amazing and who's not on my forbidden bands list. You can get creative with it and you've got until Saturday evening. Good luck!

I'll probably be scorned for saying this but it sounds like what you'd expect unhinged 70's prog musicians would sound like - just working out their boredom of popular music without a lot of pre-meditation. It got quite awesome in places but there were a lot of places if you know what I mean.

This, however, is new. You are right, I have been slightly avoiding this band because of the Christian lyrics... I don't have anything against religious lyrics, in theory, but if I know outright I won't be able to relate, a band goes down a bit on my check-out list. I wouldn't be surprised if this were their best song, it has the "best song a band has done" vibe. Seriously if you're reading this thread and don't mind metal check this stuff out.
