I never liked them a whole lot – was always a Deep Purple/Rainbow/Black Sabbath kinda gal, but I want to remedy that. This song was better than the “greatest hits” of theirs and would have likely scored higher a round or two ago but here it was overshadowed by some others.

5 pointsYou’ve really hit the nail on the head here – I’ve been really into something more minimalistic and dark with the mood I had all past week and the lyrics might seem ordinary to some but they were downright painful to me as I’ve had a couple of similar situations in the near past. So, disturbing but good.

The delivery is so perfect and the lyrics are perfect as well – the father/son topic is obviously something I can’t relate to as a 20-year-old girl but this set of lyrics was just… especially special. I don’t even like this genre normally! But this song is so good. What the hell. You floored me Rich.
