Happy birthday! I'm not familiar with any of those 5 albums, except The Wall, but obviously it's a classic.

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock - 1991

One of the very first post-rock albums ever, but also one of the very best. Laughing Stock is a surreal masterpiece.
Its really astonishing how Talk Talk moved from a synthpop band to the band who invented post-rock. They made two post rock albums - Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, and I think Laughing Stock is the better one out of the two.
Laughing Stock is unusually beautiful, and the lyrics of it are incredibly poetic... its like looking at one of the most beautiful things ever.
The whole album feels so incredibly surreal, its like a window to another dimension, a really beautiful dimension though ;3
And btw, the transition between Ascension Day to After The Flood is one of the best transitions ever.
I love beautiful things.

I think Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock are almost even for me, but I prefer Laughing Stock by a very small margin. Two awesome albums, that's for sure.

I don't see how that is something to be proud over, but it is unique I guess. :P I didn't have any DT when I made my previous top50, but I did have both Opeth and PT.

Big fan of post-rock but I've never listened to Talk Talk, going to check it out now. That is a great cover.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven

Most of you are allready familiar with this album. This is a legendary album by a legendary band, and its truly a masterpiece.
Its huge, its majestic, its epic, its emotional, its touching, its beautiful and pure. Each one of its 4 compositions are nothing less than spectacular, and the execution is goddamn perfect.
Each one of the instruments here just glows and shines, no instrument overshaddows the other instrments. And the voice samples...well, I love it whan bands use samples ;3 the sample of sleep is espicially awesome.... btw, talking about sleep, that song made me cry more than one time.
I love beautiful things.

I won't have Akerwilson either, but I've restrained myself for including 4 DT albums and instead am rolling with *just* 3 :D hopeless fangirl.

Massive Attack - Mezzanine - 1998

This album is the 2nd best hip-hop related album I ever heard, only surpassed by Endtroducing.
Mezzanine is a trip-hop album, a subgenre of hip-hop. Its like hip-hop just more...trippy and atmospheric.
This album contains alot of the "epic" factor - the songs in it just sound EPIC.  Angel, Risingson,Teardrop,Dissolved Girl and Black Milk are all epic and awesome. every song in this album is great.
Another thing that I would like to mention is that the bass tones in this album are awesome.
I love beautiful things.

Boards Of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children - 1998

One of the most hyped electronic albums of all time. And it totally woth the hype: this album is incredible.
Its hard to describe the feel this album gives me, but I would describe it as the sounds of being lonely, and looking at other people do what im not that great at: socializing.
Its like echoes from another world really. this is the kind of music that should be heard while you are alone at home with your headphones.
And also, as odd as it seems, this album sounds like the album cover -  it sounds... well.... turquoise. You have to listen to realize it.
I suggest this album to ANYONE who likes electronica. its essential.

I still have to 'get' this album. I'm so accustumed to the nice vibe of The Campfire Headphase.
Not 'Down To F***', but 'Dream Theater Forums' .

This album took me a while to get. But I remember the very moment I 'got' it, I downloaded all of their EPs and albums instantly. It hit me that hard. BoC really creates a vibe like no other group. They will never be emulated.

Hmm okay. I'll guess:

From Monument to Masses - On Little Known Frequencies
Maybeshewill - Not For Want Of Trying

I dunno, might now even be post-rock.
