On the Backs of Angels will be on the DVD.
I'm aware it was probably a mistake (or I missed it, or the guys who copied the translated text missed it), but it had me worried for like the split second it took me to mention that in my previous post as I really liked that song and James nailed did wonders in that edition. It's more about BCSL, especially the Portnoy-related songs, be it musically (vocals in ANTR, TCOT) or personally (TBOT, TSF).
Yeah, I was just looking at that. The setlist for the last BC&SL show in Tokyo would have filled in very nicely the songs we don't have on a DVD release.
Hey DT! If you're reading this I would definitely buy a YTSEJAM release of this.
I'm more or less satisfied with the footage available from the festival's broadcast in Youtube, obviously it would've been nicer to get it in higher quality and adjusted for a DT DVD but it's great this way too. I'm definitely hoping to get an official bootleg from the BCSL tour one day, but I hold higher hopes for having all the songs from that album in rotation in future tours.
Maybe bar TBOT if they really have to. As much as i love that song, it
is even more personal than SDV lyrically (however it screams "DT" musically). It'd be stupid if they banned TSF though, as it's the summary of a saga featuring songs they used to play dozens of time (not counting Repentance...), one of those songs was in rotation in this very tour.
