Inspired by the many polls of bands/albums vs another that Kev has started over the years, I got to thinking 'What about just the vocalist?' Well, I started making a list of the classic voices in rock, and I could run a March Madness Tournament (I came up with 64 names). If the reception on this warrants it, I just may run it as such a tournament. If not, I'll just run a bunch of singer vs singer polls for the hell of it.

Voting should be based on vocal/frontman skills and talent. Think about quality, not quantity. Consider just the vocals, not the songs/discography.

To start things off, a couple of names that any fan of classic rock should know.

For my liking, Lennon is smooth and passionate, but Daltry has that edge and range, and some of the best screams ever.

Daltrey it is.

Lennon was pretty good vocal-wise, but he lacked the fire Daltrey has.

Daltry easily. Not only a killer set of power pipes till he blew them out from sheer overuse, but also one of the most intense and energetic frontmen ever, only he could live up to the insanity that was Moon and Townshend in the primetime of The Who.
