For $300 you can get an expedited passport in about 2-3 weeks. However even if a passport was free, there is still the matter of airfare to Europe, and unless there was an actual vacation this awesome lineup still isn't quite awesome enough for that expense.

I actually priced out flights to Frankfurt last August when it was just FR and BtB.  $1800... couldn't justify it.

Well, Toronto airport does have the highest taxes/fees of any airport in North America.  It's probably closer to a grand out of the US.
