Speaking of which, ive never been to this venue before. The website is kind of shite so I couldn't fin much info on the layout. So how is it, And the acoustics, etc.?

I like it. It's an old theatre converted to live music venue. No seats. But there are a few tables and a balcony. I saw Testament there and stood in the balcony...it sounded good to me.

I also saw Confessor there last year. I stood on the floor on the side ramp that leads to the bar area and it sounded good there too.

I've been here twice to see Porcupine Tree and Coheed. The acoustics are fine. Both shows were louder than most shows I've been to, but its a decent venue.

Is anyone going to the show at the Canyon Club in Agoura? I may go (toss up between this or Steven Wilson at Club Nokia) Opeth is a hell of a lot closer... but unless I know a group of people going I probably just go to SW and see Opeth another time.

Maybe. I was at work and was still excited to find out that my new office neighbor recognized the picture of Dream Theater and me on my laptop so my memory is kind of fuzzy.
