I really want to experience Octavarium live before DT disbands.
THIS. So much.
It is amazing. I want to experience ACOS live sometime in the near future...

It would be so amazing that they bring both songs on tour. They can use either Octavarium or ACOS to close their sets.

That would be BADASS, one in set A and the other in B. But it would take a lot of rehearsing....

I hear you, it's definitely a big challenge...but it's a possibility considering they're taking the fall off. They've got plenty of time to rehearse 'em.

i have much hate and love for the term "very soon"...
still all very exciting!  :corn
Also I think I've decided that I will listen to this for the first time on vinyl. Is that a thing that's worth doing?
nonetheless I still stand by not listening to a single drop of this until its release. I've said it about seven times in the thread to make it more official for myself lol.

Good old Randy knows exactly the right things to say to get us all excited! :lol

The best thing ever would be if he posts the announcement here before the usual Twitter/FB channels.

You're telling me. Almost completely meaningless in promo terms. "Very" probably means days or weeks, rather than months, though, so that's nice.

Yes.

Yes it would.

Apparently the guy who runs the Twitter isn't Randy. It's someone named Phil.

So, what should we do to drag him over here to DTF too?

I think he should come here and apologize.  It's not fair that he led all of us to believe that he was Randy.

Here's a good one to speculate on, and maybe we need a separate thread, but who in reality folks, should open for DT on the North American tour?

Evening with would be best, but otherwise Collective Soul or Everclear...that way I could get my wife to actually go to the concert willingly, she could enjoy her music and I could enjoy mine ;D

I saw Collective Soul with Mrs. P about 2 months ago and I was shocked at how much they rocked. The audience was really jumping! I know your comment was meant to be a joke and their audiences would never be compatible but I would go to that concert!  :)

Collective Soul really isn't a joke, I have seen them twice in Concert with the Missus and they put on one of the most energetic rocking shows I have ever been to.

They're world class musicians, I'm sure they'd be able to pull it together. They managed to do Six Degrees and Octavarium in one show, with an orchestra no less, that couldn't have been easy.

On other news, this thread has become the longest DT-related thread to be still on DTF's database (and therefore accounted for in the forum stats).

I would hope they bring an orchestra along this tour. Would be a shame to have the orchestra in the studio but not bring them on tour. They did the opposite when they did Six Degrees. Though I think that was just for one show..... so who knows?
