^^Ah man can't wait hearing the original and also when thinking about it....we actually should have a contest of some form on which forum member that can spot that part and what song on the album it belongs to the quickest when the album have been released. That could be fun.

Aside from the church organ, I could see any of those fitting, although the piano sounds the most likely to me due to the arrangement. I loved the honky tonk one the most. If the album has something that sounds like that, I'd be thrilled. Something with the variety of SFAM.

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Anybody have a guess at how much the deluxe edition would cost? I'm gonna guess somewhere around $120. What was the price of the ADTOE box set?

I missed that one, and I don't know if I'll ever get it.

I have the BCSL one, but that was after it was gone and came back a lot cheaper. I don't know if that will happen with ADTOE or not

Here's a good one to speculate on, and maybe we need a separate thread, but who in reality folks, should open for DT on the North American tour?

Never knew there were a bunch of Israelis on this board, count me as one of them too.

Besides the album, I really hope they're making a making-of DVD. I always love those

The piano, orchestra and strings sound the most likely.
Everything is immaterial. Do you know that reality is immaterial? This is not reality.
In what friggin' universe is a 68 minute long album "short"?

It's risky. We don't know how the band, assuming they don't know already informally, would react if "officially" notified that a bit of their still unreleased music leaked in some way.

Hopefully no one, but I would say Styx. That would be so freaking cool even though it will never happen.

Evening with would be best, but otherwise Collective Soul or Everclear...that way I could get my wife to actually go to the concert willingly, she could enjoy her music and I could enjoy mine ;D

If there have to be, Haken please! They are uber awesome and they'll be releasing their third studio album in September as well. They are on the rise in popularity and would hugely benefit from getting to play in front of the DT people. Which, in turn, should well appreciate their playing as many of us on DTF already do. :)

I saw Collective Soul with Mrs. P about 2 months ago and I was shocked at how much they rocked. The audience was really jumping! I know your comment was meant to be a joke and their audiences would never be compatible but I would go to that concert!  :)

Uhhh...kind of a mismatch there.  Fans of those bands would be blown out of the arena during the first song.

Oh, I'm not an Israeli. I've been several times and I used to be able to speak very well (and I'm Jewish), but that's about it.

Not true.  I love Collective Soul.  They can really rock a concert.  I saw them last summer and it was great.  I would love a DT/Collective Soul show.

Can I ask a completely irrelevant question? When was the last time DT played Octavarium live? Is there any chance they'll play it this tour?

I think the last time was the 8VM tour, and Razor's Edge on the SC tour. Though they should keep it shelved.

The last time they played the whole thing was at the Score show at RCMH.

There is a larger chance they will play it this tour now that they are going back to an Evening With format.

Well, I'm certainly not worried about it happening any time soon, but I want the closure of knowing they'll play it again before they stop playing altogether.
