The purple image on DT's fb profile pic isn't the cover, is it? lol

EDIT: You don't have to answer that  ;)

What an interesting day. Lucien, please don't beat yourself up too much. After all, in a roundabout way, you caused an official rep of Roadrunner to join the forums :) Haha.

@GuyWhoRunsTheRRFB - BTW, it is awesome that DT ended up on a label that truly cares for the band and the music just as much as the fans do.  :tup

Haha - they deserve absolutely nothing less.  You should have seen when they officially resigned last year.  One of our A&R dudes ran out from his office yelling "WE JUST RESIGNED DREAM THEATER!!!" and had a bottle of celebratory whiskey with him.  It was a good day.

I would've been more impressed had it been a rare vintage of wine

Haha.. while we do have our sophisticated sides, we're predominately a metal label, after all.

Hahaha, reminded me a joke: What genre is it when a metal band gets drunk and jams? Hard whiskey :neverusethis: :millahhhh

This could be a good thing, now we have someone at RR to listen to our crazy ideas....like DT on colored vinyl!  ;D :metal

That's the most bat-shit crazy thing I've ever heard.  Go back to the nuthouse, ya loon.

Might be a good idea...

the new guy is funny.   :D :tup   Consider this "market research" man!  You're in touch with what die-hard DT fans want.

Now that we have someone from RR here, just show us the traklist and the artwork! :D

Of course, just kidding!

Nice to have you here!

As much as I'd like to leak info to you, it would definitely be an offense worthy of termination.

Termination? They would terminate you? Kill yourself first!!! Don't let them take you alive!!! Just kidding of course!!! :tup

Okay, I've been following this all afternoon in my commuting, and I have to say, this is easily one of the most bizarre and hysterical happenings on Dtf. You guys never let me down.

To GWRTRRFB, welcome, honored to have you around  :tup

And as much as i'd like to know those informations as soon as possible, it has to be remembered that it's their work, and it's completely up to them to decide when and how we're going to discover new informations about it, and i'm perfectly fine with it.

Can't say that I have.  This far out, generally only A&R/product managers would have had access.  All assets, but especially music, are pretty heavily guarded for as long as possible.

Seriously though, and this probably only applies to me, but the only DT vinyl I have is the new Images & Words because it was colored.  The new album being on colored vinyl would be more incentive to buy it.  And they are worth it, of course!

Randy, I don't know how many goats you had to sacrifice in order to gain your powers, but somehow you managed to calm the DTF rageswarm. I didn't even think it was possible.

He less calmed it and instead provoked a distraction via people having the desire to ask questions like "HAVE YOU HEARD THE ALBUM?!"
