I don't think constantly telling people 'yep, there's a DT announcement coming' and 'there will be one at 10 tomorrow morning' counts as 'miscommunication'. It counts as either wrong, incompetent, or intentionally misleading.

Technically, the only true falsity was the RR UK twitter, saying "Looks that way!" in response to "DT announcement today?" I think they just missed the "DT" part.

Roadrunner USA only said "maybe," which, IMO, is still mean
