DTF: the fanbase that hopes 'soon' means 'the moment immediately following now.'

No, but it was delayed til 10 am tomorrow according to Roadrunner's facebook page.

Dream Theater !

The band that likes to say " SOON " .
At least that's pretty much proof that it's about them.  :lol

I think DT and the people they work with need to learn not to announce things until they're sure everything is set to go.  :lol

So... the announcement is: The announcement will be at 10am tomorrow.

That's amazeballs! They announced an announcement.... Inception anyone?
Everything is immaterial. Do you know that reality is immaterial? This is not reality.
In what friggin' universe is a 68 minute long album "short"?

No.

Inception is the act of implanting an idea in someone's subconscious.

Not something inside itself.

MISCON-ception ;D

What timezone did RR announce that in? In other words, what timezone are they talking about so I can have an alarm clock set to the exact time where I can stare at their twitter page until I see (1 New Tweet) and scream OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, while the whole Trivium fanbase goes awwwww... as they don't get anything new, and we get our AMAZING TRACKLIST and our AMAZING ALBUM COVER?

Central, Pacific, or Atlantic, assuming that Roadrunner doesn't live in England (which would be great anyways, because it would be like 5 am in the morning for me if they announced the schtuff at 10 am over there).

It would be a bit weird to have two "huge announcements" about the same band that close... Tomorrow we'll see.

Yes, because RR said they'd announce it today, but then last minute changed it to tomorrow. That kinda shit has DT written all over it!  :rollin :rollin :rollin

I'd say there's a good chance it's about Trivium, which is fine by me.

Well it's either the DT fans or the Trivium fans that are let down tomorrow, and considering all the hits RRR has given us, I think we know almost for certain which of the two fandoms will be screaming with joy within 12 hours.  ;D

:heart Still worth it though.

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

You, this. I'm extremely excited for the new Trivium, actually, maybe even more than for DT12.
