Ha. Laughing at the drumming.

Sounds like me the first time I ever heard Thomas Lang playing Balkan.

I'd never heard anything like that before.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

With a new piece to the puzzle, does it give you a renewed sense of energy at this point in the band’s career?

JR: Oh for sure. Anyone who’s heard this album or stopped by the studio, you’ve just got to smile at the drumming, it’s so outrageous. He does some fills that are like, ‘Oh my God!’ (laugh) I can’t help but almost like laugh."
Piglia bene. =)

If the drumming is so insane that I will laugh in shock, MY BODY IS NOT READY FOR THIS ALBUM.

I'd like to point out that I have a sister who texts me about DT anouncements when I'm somewhere internet-less. And not because she likes DT, but because she knows I'll hyperventilate about it somewhere.

WHY MUST YOU MOVE SO SLOWLY TIME?

Tomorrow is the last day of school. Then hopefully Barnes and Noble calls me saying I got a job there (nothing specific, I said "any" for the position, "any" for the pay, and "any" for the hours. If they don't call me, I will be VERY surprised.)

Also my birthday is on Saturday, when I will be taking the ACT, which will take a couple of hours which doesn't really mean much considering the fact that the test is not difficult.

If the big announcement is just a release date and nothing more, that's a pretty shitty big announcement.

The tracklisting font is a little too plain and it says Mixed by Andy Wallace. :P

Good. I didn't like the front cover, or the track list, and I'm hoping for a purple cover.

I feel like taking a shower right now, going to sleep, then waking up at 5 (It's 7 right now.), so Thursday will come faster.

But then that'd be a waste of 3 hours.  :|

I would LOVE that title.  From the darkness of Portnoy leaving to the band being on fire.  That's what it would mean to me IF it's real.

I hope it's self-titled. I thought they should have done that with DT11, but it's be great for them to do it at any point.

Huh...that TIW back cover looks real, and I would LOVE a double album, but the title...meh.

And let's not judge an album based on the song titles, ADTOE's titles aren't all great.  TIW titles looks like they COULD be real.

And Darkness To Fire looks totes fake.  The title isn't even centered.

A fan made it, it's definitely fake (referring to traces in water.)

From Darkness to Fire is a badass name, but I doubt the artwork would be that simple.

I agree with the part in bold but I am not sure how I feel about DT12 being a self-titled if they decide to do that.

And in my opinion one of the best, if not, the best one. That one really stood out to me when I saw it, and it got me really excited honestly. I think it looks fantastic.

I don't think that's the final draft, but I wouldn't be surprised if the album looks like that plus a couple things. I think so far it looks REALLY cool, and the title is pretty good too, and will probably make more sense and have more meaning with the music

The worst part is the the DT logo and symbol are floating in 3D space, but then the title is just flat front bold font.  :lol

You just mentioned all 3 elements of the picture on one "the worst part is" sentence. Nice.

The announcement is obviously gonna be that the new album will heavily feature James LaBrie on the slide whistle.

I'd go for that. :lol

yeah I know. It's just, it was really hard waiting til the release date when I knew it was already floating around the internet. But I'm proud to say I stuck it out! haha. I just don't want to have to do that again. xD
