While I think this is more likely, what I loved on the Octavarium tour, was hearing how the band tackled the unusual arrangements. With songs like Sacrificed Sons and Octavarium, that they'd been playing every night, there was still a real anticipation seeing them live, because a. I was fifteen and it was my first DT gig, I'd have been excited by The Ones Who Helped to Set the Sun on loop, and b. I had no idea how they were gonna pull it off without an orchestra. Turned out, easily! But SS, in particular - doing the string parts on the continuum was really,
really cool. I'd like to see more of that.
