You know what else has become a cliché in Metal? ... Distorted guitars! Everyone uses them!
saying orchestras have become cliche is like saying electric guitars have become cliche... If you mean using an orchestra or electric guitar (or any other musical instrument or approach) for no reason other than filling up and beefing the sound, well that never became cliche, it's simply stupid and unoriginal every single time.
the voice boxes etc. JP strangely enough never experimented with those.
Speaking of stringless, I was thinking the other day that JP is rather non-adventurous when it comes to sounds and guitars. There's the fretless guitars out there, the voice boxes etc. JP strangely enough never experimented with those.
Sorry, I should have been more precise. So, this tell us something: we have an orchestra on the album! I am happy, are you?

Everyone one of his solos is an adventure that takes a mortal being 65786x as long to complete, or is impossible for them to complete.

Don't try to BS her about Kevin Moore facts, she will obscure quote you in the face.

Eren is really lucky! Why have they become a cliche?Because almost everyone uses them (orchestral arrangements are slowly breaking into extreme metal, even) but everyone seems to use them because they love orchestral music, and not because they actually have an idea how to use them in their music. At least that's my stance as a metalhead who dislikes 90% of how orchestras are used in metal Well said. A lot of lesser metal bands write a simple song and add orchestral instruments that just play the same simple chord progression, assuming that it will make their music sound grand and epic.I want more bands to do what, for example, Haken did with the string quartet at the end of Visions

Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.
I be am boner inducing.

I'd be standing somewhere with dignity, respect, and bitches.
When Mike and Mob Unite, featuring the hit A Lawsuit in Lies
But the use of an actual orchestra isn't all that common, and is often done in an intelligent and interesting way (I like the Haken example, great choice!). And I trust DT to incorporate it nicely like they did on Octavarium.
But Kotow is right .
^ Or they'll just backing track it like they have ben recently for backing vox etc.
So.. so... does that mean they will be touring with an orchestra? You know, if theres a lot used (other than that I guess JR could play it live)
Ah ha, so there will be keys on the album....
As frequently happens, Super Dude nailed it.

Matt is correct.

The moment you know it's gonna be a great album.

The Madmen & Sinners stuff James was on was freakin' badass and I believe that was all done with a fretless. Fretless guitar is a tricky beast from what I hear. Much more complicated than fretless bass.
