Dammit, my eyes really did ignore that 'l' at the end. I was looking for the translation but couldn't find anything.

It means "cheers" in Danish (from old icelandish).

Can we get back to the important discussion of JLB's hair?  It's been a lot of different hues over the years, but, in the end, we only see the change, light to dark, dark to light.

That bolded part was actually referring to AROP, not ANTR.  Sorry for the confusion, folks.
Oh, it's totally my bad, started replying after reading until the bolded part. Don't particularly care for AROP, but I love every JP solo which features wah-wah and tremolo hitting (or whatever that technique is called).

No worries - I just wanted to clarify that for everyone else, too. :)

The complete suckage of the last page or so has finally been erased.

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

So now there are vocals, mixing and mastering left?
I wonder if they are finished writing lyrics...

Meh.
Who needs lyrics?
I'd be fine with just James "woahing" wordless throughout the album! :neverusethis:
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I seriously love non-lyrical vocals (Lunatic Soul, Cocteau Twins) so I'd be down for that.

I wonder if James is going to record in NY since DT still has about two or three weeks left at the NY studio. Unless they are using that time for guitar solos and lyric writing.

Jordan post on facebook

But the video is private. Someone commenting on facebook thinks it might have been a private message from JR to JP posted wrong but I think that's unlikely.

Dunno what's with the private thing, but I bet it's another one of his Explorations videos.

Yes, as far as I know those videos are available only to those who pledged for something on kickstarter.

That's correct, however this time it's not a video for us "pledgers" cause it has not been uploaded to the updates-section on his Pledge Music account. I'm thinking that this may be something that he wanted to show someone involved in his Explorations project (the orchestral piece) in private.

I'm pretty sure James has already said he's going to do the vocals in NY.

Some good news :)

I am really happy for the guy. He's fulfilling one of the dreams of his life and I cannot but smile seeing it happening, following his progression in the past few years. I hope many many more will do the same when they hear the new album. :)

What is this referring to? Is this just some random good news or is it about Jordan's or James' solo thing? Or the new DT album?

This must be for DT's album. The guy is an orchestra arranger. He did the orchestra thing with JR and he Venezuelan orchestra. Can't quite remember his name LOL
