Theorem 1: In every official DT update or whatever form of communication on social media there will always be one or more (or infinite) messages saying "DT PLS COAM TO INDONESIA". Even if the band had come to Indonesia one weak earlier.

Theorem 2: In every official MP update or whatever form of communication on social media there will always be one or more (or infinite) messages from someone who is not sure but hopeful that MP is still in DT. There's also a 100% chance that said comment will feature the topos "DT/MP PLEAS COAM TO INDONESIA"

 :lol

(with all due respect to the huge amount of scaringly loving Indonesian fans  :tup )

Omg u guise! Miek potnoy iz comin to indonesia!
"  “@Bagas_Aji_: hi mike , are you still playing drum for dream theater ? Reply plese”
@MikePortnoy "Yes I am...And we're playing Indonesia all month long!!""

From his Twitter (had no idea where to post this, we should seu up a MP stupid update thread, most of which will probably be AMOB dates...)

And then he tweeted that he is not a DT fan  :facepalm:

Answers like that are something MP should continue to give - this reminds me of that "RA has a nicer ass than JLB" tweet! :lol :clap: The most annoying thing about these "pls come 2 (insert name of country here)" comments and posts on bands' FB pages is that sometimes some clueless people continue to make them even after one or more dates in that country have been confirmed. :facepalm:

That's them been at work in the studio for about ten weeks now I wonder how close they are to finnishing?
The creation and destruction of harmonic and 'statistical' tensions is essential to the maintenance of compositional drama. Any composition (or improvisation) which remains consonant and 'regular' throughout is, for me, equivalent to watching a movie with only 'good guys' in it, or eating cottage cheese.

Almost thought JP was using an 8 string JP13 but looks like its a 7, and the other thing i saw is the 7ths tuner lock.  I also see hes got two 12s and two 6 string acoustics too.  Wonder if hes going to go for another multi-tracked OTBOA type deal agian.  I'd be OK with that! :D  That intro is still awesome.

We need moar info! I've been dyin lately for new DT.  ;_;

Is it me or does it look like there's a 12 string baritone acoustic next to the 12 string acoustic?  Note the longer scale.

Never seen one of those before

They are because JP has posted on twitter about tracking with the JP13 and the 12-string acoustic.
