An image effect that looks like they're caught in a web? As if Spiderman had been there?

As if the ADTOE/IAW connection wasn't obvious enough, here's some solid evidence for the DT12/Awake theory before we've even heard the music.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Yeah, from now on DT will only rehash their old albums - when they record the next one they'll post a pic of Desmond Child in the studio.

But will they make it past rehashing album #8, or will they get trapped inside the Octavarium?

Thanks Debra. I was already setting the table for some tasty theory, but sounds like I'll starve a little bit longer.

It looks like he is hiding underneath the keyboard.  Did JP start bench-pressing James again?

JR uploading a picture with a needlessly stupid effect on ?

What's wrong with just uploading a pic for everyone to see jR ?

Only makes sense seeing as there's a new Spider-man.

I think it's all still part of the build-up.  First we only got pictures of the equipment.  Some had the occassional hand showing or whatever.  Then a pic with a blurry person in the background.  Now pictures of the guys, but obscured by effects.  They're building the suspense or something.

I think we will eventually get pictures of them, but they have to mess with us a little more first.

Don't forget that Mike Mangini is in the writing process this time, so they will probably want to open the album showing what he is capable of! Maybe with a drum intro or something... ::)

Or they could just introduce the album with a heavy track(perhaps the one with the "algebra"), instead of referring too much to Awake..
Don't mess with Take The Time.

Welcome aboard :)

If they feel like it is complimentary to the album structure/concept, then why not! But I don't think they should make one just for the sake of it (not that they will, knowing JP and the others)  :)

I wouldn't mind an instrumental if they've got material that naturally lends itself to a solid one.  But part of what I loved about ADTOE was that they really wrote good songs where nothing felt at all forced or out of place, and I'm hoping the next album feels the same, whether that means we get an instrumental or not.

Concept albums tend to lend themselves to one or two instrumentals...

Thanks, great to be on this forum. I've been a fan for a while now ( in fact I follow them from I&W )but I waited until now because my English isn't so good. :-\ Anyway,  a big hello to everyone here  I didn't want them to do a instrumental because they have to. I only love them go nuts on there instruments once in a while.

Hey, of course James is a hell of a singer and I love what he did on the last album, but with the talent we have in the band I love a instrumental or a instrumental section in a song where they go nuts. I loved ADTOI a lot but 3 ballads was a little to much for me. Hopefully they make a proggy, heavy and melodic album with everything in ballans ( the singing and the instrumental breaks ) :tup Everyone happy then. ;D

ADTOI

:omg:  The new album will be titled "A Dramatic Turn Of Indians" and will feature a 58-minute extended cover of Run To The Hills with a huge instrumental section in seemingly random time sigatures!  :dangerwillrobinson:

Must not have been very good Indians.  Just ask (the late General) Custer.
