Ok so it's 12/21/12 in my country now, but I'm a little confused.  Was I supposed to wake up this morning to find the world destroyed, or is today the last day and tomorrow the world will be destroyed?  Or is the world just gonna explode at some point today?  :huh:

Since it was made up from nothing, I guess that depends on which scenario you go with, although I got the impression that there was supposed to be some kind of cataclysmic instantaneous doomsday scenario right at the moment when the calendar transitions over to the next period, which has apparently come and gone.

The super duper awesome thing about this is that the fanatics that truly believe in this shit will find a way to delude themselves into thinking something was "wrong" about the calender and it's going to happen at a later time or that it will happen in a different way, etc. etc. It's already begun with the toothless hicks; I overheard my dad talking with a neighbor who is batshit crazy and has it in his mind that it's still going to happen. He asked my dad if we wanted to stay in his bunker for the next few weeks. My dad then slowly backed away and ran inside after that.

Bunch of disillusioned, absolutely moronic cunts. So stupid. I don't get how one can be without such reason. It's like rel-....OHHHHHHH I ALMOST DID IT.

I'd do it anyway just to be safe. You're going to feel really stupid if the apocalypse ends up being real, and you had the space pod already set up, and didn't even use it. Boy, wouldn't your face be red!
