Man. Cracked is awesome sometimes but really sucks to a surprising extent sometimes considering how capable they usually are of cranking out good stuff. For one, Rob Trujillo didn't play a note on St. Anger. Also, while I don't at all stand by Metallica's watering down their style in the 90s, Cracked comes off as a hypocritical hack by also producing watered down "comedy" if you can't even muster 12 made-up song titles without having to use "sellout" in three of them. Even if that's supposed to be the joke, the concept falls flat.

BF If by talented you mean he plays better then I agree but find it irrelevant cause Metallica was never about outstanding musicianship. And I just plain disagree with the second half of what you said, even Jason had better stage presence than Trujillo.

I didn't mean to say he does nothing, I meant to say I don't like what he does one bit, his stage presence to me is very annoying and distracting, very unfitting to the Metallica vibe. His awful and yet continuous attempt at performing back vocals is a remote second reason why I can't stomach him.
Still I enjoyed his guest performances with Rodrigo y Gabriela and realized I don't mind him at all out of the context of Metallica.
