You didn't piss anyone off man. But you essentially jumped into a room of strangers and yelled "EVERY LOOK AT ME I'M SUPER IMPORTANT!"

It just comes off as....well, tactless, you know?

You have a good voice. If you want to use this forum as a means of advertising, then you should do it in the musicians forum. Essentially you're saying that your advertising is more important than anyone else's because you're singing on a CD by the same group that once employed James LaBrie to sing for them as well. I know I'll get yelled at for saying this, but I'm trying to be as cordial as possible. If you want to be a real part of this forum, then by all means participate in discussions. But don't just come here to brag to a bunch of strangers about something, it just makes you seem very full of yourself, which doesn't come off well.

I agree with what Adami said. I think the biggest problem is that the thread title is very misleading. Ask yourself this: If I was a member of this forum (who hadn't seen your previous thread) and saw the thread title, what would I expect to find in it?

If your answer to this question is anything other than "An actual new song which is written and performed by Dream Theater" then your cause and effect deduction skills may not be properly wired.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Good or bad. I'm glad some people dug it and again I apologise to those people that I pissed off. It was not my intention to do that. In my defence I did post my last tune with DT in the Musician section ... However the moderator moved it here. That's why I posted the new one here. Having said that though it was a bad call to name it like I did ... I regret that ... Big time!

My biggest gripe about this whole thing is that it's not even Dream Theater, OR Dream Theatre... it's a song by Liquid Tension Experiment (or, to be more realistic, half of LTE since only JP and JR play on it).

Yeah, just change the title. It's a pretty good effort (i liked the previous as well) but it's kind of misleading and annoying to try to get attention this way.

So Henning Pauly is releasing two more FrameShift albums. FS1 had James LaBrie on it. FS2 had Sebastian Bach singing on it. FS3 has Alex Froese on it. I'm singing/writing on the fourth album. The reason that I'm doing the vocals etc with the DT songs is to try and get the FS4 word out there. I figured that if I could sing/write on 3 DT instrumental tracks then it might turn some heads etc. Unfortunately I made a balls of the thread for the second song and I'll probably be ever remembered as 'that Cunt on the DT forum'. 
 
Just to note that I sincerely put alot of work into the songs. I'm currently working on the 3rd one. It's my fav DT instrumental of them all and is a real bitch to sing/write to but I'm looking forward to the end result. I'm hoping that people will check it out. Especially the core DT fans. That's why I'm posting here. It's important to me that I get the opinions of the real fans. The people who eat,drink and breathe DT. As you can see they don't hold back. They tell it like it is. Good, bad or 'I fucking hate you!'.
