Okay, back to topic. So we all agree that TCOT is about JP's sex life, right?

Especially this part:

Could this be the end? Is this the way I die?
Sitting here alone, no one by my side
I don't understand, I don't feel that I deserve this
What did I do wrong? I just don't understand
I just don't understand

The chorus are amazing... They're so melodic... And if you get the chance of having the isolated tracks of the song (which I have) and if you hear only the keys isolated you would amazed of how beauty is the chorus line...

I agree, the keys in the chorus are much too quiet on the album.

The Key Stems are quite amazing. Especially the last 6 minutes, just perfect. I agree that they the keyboard line needed to be more prominent in the song.

The keyboard line in the chorus is my favorite. It is too low, although when they play it live, it's much more prominent. The keys are my favorite part of the song, the end kind of gives me a Coldplay vibe

I totally agree, the keys should be a little bit more higher in the Chorus. The guitar is too loud and is not that relevant to be in that way... The keys are giving away the melody and they're too low...

Altough the lyrics are awesome, the guitar solo/key solo in the middle, at the beginning it tired me a bit, but after hear it live, I just went crazy... And the acoustic guitar at the end really gives the song that push, that doubt and then the happy ending... XD

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
