Instead of listing a crap load of more movies, I'm willing to bet that Chino has seen maybe 1 of the movies we listed at most.

GET ON THAT

You stopped half way through a trilogy? Does that mean you turned it off in the middle of The Godfather Part 2? Cause that is a crime punishable by death.

It is, however, encouraged that you not watch the third.

I saw part one and started part two but only got about 15 minutes into the movie when i had to pee, which i did and when i came back i just didn't feel for three hours more. So i stopped and if i remember correctly i even abandoned the masterpiece for some LEGO: Indiana Jones on my 360.....true story! Yeah....broken elevator straight down to hell!  :(

Nah, some things you just need to watch. Just for the sake of becoming more cultured.

But seriously, Godfather III isn't a terrible movie. As a mob movie in it's own right, it's actually pretty decent. It just sucks because it's nowhere near as good as the first two movies. But, honestly, it can hang with a ton of other mob movies any day.

But, yeah, I'm willing to agree with Adami that Chino probably hasn't even watched any of these yet lol

many many excellent recomendations in here....all for various scenes that make them so amazing.

My all time favorite film is Lawrence of Arabia which is being re-done and re-release again in theaters.

I guess if you didn't make it through Spaceballs(understandable with Bosk's explanation) you'll probably not try Blazing Saddles. Unfortunate, as you'll be mistified at how Brooks was able to get away with that level of racist language. (yes I know he did so under the pretense of showing how ignorant whites were--but still)
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.

Eh, I wish I had never watched the third.  It isn't terrible (it's not even bad), but it's wholly unnecessary.  Might as well stop with the second one and not tarnish the experience.

What the hell do you do?

Not busting your balls, but I always hear people saying things like "I'm just too busy" all the time, and usually it's a polite way of saying, "I have free time, I just don't want to spend it doing what you want me to do".

Monday through Thursday I get up at 5:30 and go to the gym. I then drive an hour to school and stay there from 9:00-8:00. I drive an hour home after that. Friday go to the town library in the morning and work the afternoon. Saturday I work 11-9:30 and Sunday I work 8-6:30.

Because I fucked up a lot early in my college career. When I transferred to this school I caught a huge break and my GPA reset. I'm busting my ass trying to keep it high. In the last four semesters my lowest average was 3.65. I'm not working 11 hours straight. Including class time, I probably spend 8-9 hours doing actual school stuff.

So I have 2 days of classes left this semester and then I plan on knocking as many of these as I can out. I have a lady friend coming down for New Years Eve and on New Years Day we are doing a movie marathon. Our line up will be as follows:

Shawshank Redemption
A Beautiful Mind
Fight Club
This is Spinaltap (she's never seen it)
Iron Giant

Seriously though, that's a pretty good line-up. I'd switch out Iron Giant with something else though, I'm not that much of a fan of that one.

I recommend Antichrist.

10/10

I also watched Vanilla Sky... Not sure if I liked it or hated it...

Just looked it up, what a year for oscars!

It was up against Pulp Fiction and Forrest Gump (among others) with Forrest Gump taking home the gold. Kind of hard to argue with that though.
