What about Bob

You have no idea how often this movie gets mentioned in a psychology graduate program as reasons to never get too close to a client.

What about Bond films? I've only seen The World is Not Enough. The only reason I watched that one was because I lost my N64 cartridge and needed to know how it ended.

While I generally agree with Bosk about movies aren't as "must see" as people say, Shawshank Redemption is actually "must see".  It really is that great.

Yeah, one of the best dramas ever done.  Definitely one of those movies where by the end of it, you come away feeling like a much more enriched person by virtue of having watched it.
Yes to all this. That's the one you really need to see!

"Get busy living, or get busy dying"

Seems to be a consensus, Shawshank should be no. 1 on the list.

The Room
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

No.  Hell no.  No fricking WAY no.

Murray and Dreyfuss have both been in much better movies than this substandard excuse for a movie.

Murray - Where The Buffalo Roam
Dreyfuss - Close Encounters of the Third Kind/Jaws

It's an amazing movie about two boys who grew up in a ghetto in Brazil named City of God. It deals with drugs, sex, violence and redemption. Oh, and it's a true story. I would give it a 9.5/10, and it's not even in English.

Judging by your lack of comment, you probably have, but I wanted to make sure. I know that I didn't expect this movie to be nearly as good as it was.

Eh, there's a time and place for those 80's/90's kids movies. If you're in your mid twenties and haven't seen them yet, I highly doubt you'll really enjoy them.

It really is. It's one of the few movies that gets that kind of hype, and still exceeds expectations.

Connery: From Russia With Love, Goldfinger (You Only Live Twice isn't as good, but is still fun)

Lazenby: On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Dalton: The Living Daylights, License To Kill (TLD moreso, but LTK is really good too)

Brosnan: Goldeneye, Goldeneye, Goldeneye

Craig: Casino Royale (If you watch Quantum of Solace, try to watch it as soon as possible after CR. Your enjoyment of QoS will probably hinge heavily on that).

If I had to limit it to a top 5 (chronological ordder, not in order of quality);
From Russia With Love, OHMSS, The Living Daylights, Goldeneye, Casino Royale

I was just about to comment on that. His first 3 are definitely worth watching.
And Moonraker was good up until the point it turned into Star Wars..... :ontome:

Dopey question, but no Moore movies?
Personal taste obviously, but I'm not much of a fan of Moore as Bond. Some of his films are still alright, but it's usually in spite of him. He tended to play the roll a bit too stiff for my liking. If I were to recommend any of his, it would be The Spy Who Loved Me, and For Your Eyes Only. In The Man With The Golden Gun and A View To A Kill, I was actively rooting for the villain by the end. To be fair, that may be partly because Christopher Lee and Christopher Walken are really good villains.
That said, I don't hate any of his films. I just prefer quite a few other Bond films.

Interesting enough, the films I'd consider as the two worst in the series aren't Moore films; Diamonds Are Forever and Die Another Day.
