You ever check out any Hourglass, bosk?

Their last album, "Oblivious To The Obvious" is awesome.  Their guitarist, and primary songwriter, Brick Williams plays lead guitar on track 2 on my band's album and he'll actually be playing lead on probably half or so of our next album.  Check 'em out if you haven't.  They have a lot in common with Dream Theater without sounding like a clone.

Just listen to Chameleon by Helloween. Something for every mood there.

So, what did you listen to?
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Hourglass! There's a name I haven't heard in a while. I have their first two CDs, pretty good progressive metal band that manages to not come across as a DT clone. Actually didn't realize that they'd done more than two albums, to be honest.

Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall, no more than a breath on the wind.

I also enjoy Hourglass.
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.

Yeah, man, their newest album is definitely their most mature work to date.  You can get it directly from the band, too, right here:
