Prog or progesque -- Layered keyboards with Beach Boys-esque vocals.

Soft Coda, opening track of Fog Electric.

I have Grappling Hooks. Its an excellent album. I haven't bought their new album yet but I streamed it when it first came out and it was great too. I'll have to remember to pick it up.

Funny because I actually planned on making a thread. Fog Electric is an amazing album, top10 for me so far in 2012 (out of the ~70 albums I've heard). I haven't checked out the first album yet, but I'm planning to.

Fog Electric is pretty good. The opening track is my favorite.
