I'm totally fine with the top 8.  I'd have them ranked slightly different, but not bent out of shape with how things ended up.

Well done and thank you DoC for running and sticking with this. I only joined about halfway through the regular season, but it's been a great ride!

I still think the song sucks, but it won fair and square.  Maybe I'll give it another try.

It isn't even in my Top 30 (which has yet to be revealed), because I still don't really get it. I've listened to it all the way through like 3 times, and it always feels like a chore.

Don't criticize someone for not liking what is considered a band's magnum opus. I still think Octavarium is their best.

It's not one of my favourites either, but if you only listened to it 3 times it doesn't surprise me that you don't get it. Give it a couple more chances.

ACOS is a worthy winner indeed. Though I think that Trial of Tears should have at least been Top 8.

I gave ACOS another try.  It still isn't very good.  They really didn't know how to write long songs yet.

But, a sincere thanks to DoC for doing the whole thing.  It took a lot of work, and it was really interesting to see how it turned out!
