Yes, he is one of the best vocalists I know :3 I can recommend you the two latest albums since they don't contain growling and are in general much better than the first two. Especially the one this song comes from - Still, from 2006 - is one of my favorite prog CDs. It's amazing. And like you said, vocals really make it.

Cool you liked Dir En Grey! I think their last two albums are perfect from start to finish, the album the song I sent you is from (Dum Spiro Spero) is perhaps a bit heavier and has more songs with Death Metal-vocals incorporated in the mix, the previous album before that one (Uroboros) is perhaps a bit more experimental/jazz-ish. Some of the songs feels like if King Crimson did metal. Uroboros is my favorite, but Dum Spiro Spero is not far behind.

Will think a bit about what to send for the next round.

Just clearing something up here,

Round 8 is the last round with an actual theme.

After this; Round 9 will be a round in which you can send multiple songs, with a different ranking system in which you can score lots of points.

After Round 9, only the top 3 players will go to the Finals (Round 10).
