The guy who's posted that video is clearly doing it wrong then.  The money I make from doing gigs goes towards vacation spending money and towards paying for Christmas.  No, it isn't enough to make a living from, which is what he should've said, but it makes enough to be helpful.

I'm with Coz here. It's not that hard to make money; just play some gigs. No, you won't live from it, but literally speaking his statement has a huge flaw. That said, it was kind-of funny in a way that that's not what you're expecting him to say, but it wasn't that funny.
