Indeed he is, on that song, at least. Everyone in the band sings except the guitarist I was filling in for. Funny enough, I sang at least one song that night.
Thanks 2Timer, and everyone. It was a really great night and we both had a hell of a lot of fun (aside from driving 11 miles out further into the sticks to procure some mic stands). Everybody in the band seemed to be of the mindset that if it weren't for the fact that I'm already in two bands and the fact that it's fairly long-distance for me to drive to practice and gigs, that I'd already be in the band, which is extremely flattering.
And for the record, 2Timer can tear up a keyboard like I have NEVER seen, at least not in a local band. The only time I have ever seen people play keyboard like that is in bands like DT and Deep Purple and such. Fittingly, we did Smoke on the Water and he did a keyboard solo at the end. I'm standing there playing the riff, just watching and I know I had a smile on my face, incredulous that anybody could play like that. Awesome.
