Tauk - Great new instrumental prog, anyone heard of them?
« on: September 18, 2012, 12:00:02 PM »
I stumbled upon this band this summer at Bonnaroo. They were playing at a tiny tent and no one knew who they were but they were putting on an insane show and the audience was going nuts. These guys are some serious musicians who create some beautiful and complex music, and I wanted to share them with DTF. I was also hoping that I could get some suggestions for similar bands, because I really like instrumental music like this for when I'm working. Enjoy!

Listened to the EP (free download at https://www.taukband.com/).  Good stuff.

This is really great stuff. Nice mellow, composition-oriented fusion. If you want a band like them, An Endless Sporadic and Snarky Puppy have similar styles.
