What is your favorite Tom Hanks character and why? I'm not saying best Tom Hanks movie, he doesn't necessarily need to be the focal point.
1) The Lady Killers: When I saw this movie in theaters, it was nothing that I expected it to be. The movie was actually really enjoyable and funny. Tom Hank's character, Professor G.H. Dorr, was probably my favorite roll he has done. It was so different than anything else he has done, and it was a pleasure watching him perform as that character. His accent and the way he spoke blew me away. The lines he had to say, were so fast, long, and complex at times, it must has been a real bitch remembering them all.
2) The Terminal : Tome Hank's playing Viktor Nivorksi was awesome. While the movie itself wasn't amazing, his character was spot on. I fell in love with a guy (no homo) who barely knew English but still managed to make me smile.
3) Catch Me if You Can : Carl Hanratty was excellent. While not the main character in the movie, he was big enough for me to consider this a kind-of Tom Hanks movie. Again, another character with a cool accent.
I don't know why I made this thread. I'm getting really side tracked today in the library and started thinking about Tom Hanks.
