Avatar: The Last Airbender & The Legend of Korra
Fiery Winds:
Just started watching this show after several years of seeing bits and pieces while my brother watched it. I'm about 6 episodes in and it's pretty good. Sokka is funny, Katara plays the caring sister well, and Aang is still a mystery. Why didn't he want to be the Avatar? How does he control his bursts into "Avatar mode"?
I like how we get to see developments within the Fire Nation, but still a lot of questions there too. Why did they attack to begin with? What's their endgame, besides simple domination?
I'm not asking these questions to be answered, as I hope they will be as I continue watching the show.
Sigz:
Yeah, my friend has been trying to get me into it, I'm like 6 or 7 episodes in. I've been enjoying it, but at this point I'm kinda just sticking it out because it gets much better from what I've heard.
Fiery Winds:
Same here. It's good, but I'm waiting for it to move past the "kid show" stigma I've placed on it.
jsem:
I watched the entire series + the first season of Korra in about two weeks time, ending like two weeks ago. Looking forward to next season, though ATLA was miles better than Korra. The Korra storyline was too fast paced, and the comic relief was just bleh compared to how Sokka was.
Chino:
I got excited when I saw the first bit of the thread title... then :sadpanda:
