ProgPower 2013 lineup (includes one of PelleK's bands!)
« on: September 15, 2012, 10:00:28 AM »
Damnation Angels (featuring PelleK on vocals - also sings in The Anabasis, kirksnosehair's band)
Myrath
Xandria (reminds me of Nightwish, not my thing, but I know there are a lot of Nightwish fans)
Wolverine
Ashes of Ares (Matt Barlow's new band)
Soilwork
Shadow Gallery

ReinXeed
Heaven's Cry
Wolf
Circus Maximus
Armored Saint
Sabaton

I'll be there.  Sabaton, Shadow Gallery, Damnation Angels and Circums Maximus seal the deal for me!

Would love to see Shadow Gallery and Circus Maximus, but this is another year of a band or three I really want to see mixed with a bunch I don't care about.

Perhaps you should ask bosk to reverse the "e" and "a" in the second half of your user name.

Is this the Europe or US Prog Power?

There's enough there to get me to drive to Atlanta if I can make it fit my schedule, which is the same situation I had this year and I'm not in Atlanta right now.

Cool, it's the same Wolverine that's from my home town. Great guys all around.
Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.

Tell them they've got two diehard fans in Serbia. And when I say diehard, I mean it.

A friend of mine introduced me to them back in 2010 (not very long ago, but long enough for attachment, that's for sure) and I've been dying over Still in particular ever since. They're soooooo gooooooooooood.

This is indeed the one in Atlanta.

Kind of what I'm thinking.  My initial reaction to lineups is much like Nick's, only to realize a few years later that there are more bands there that I like.  I know quite a few people lover Wolverine, so it's probably only a matter of time until I give them a try.  Five year from now I don't want to be kicking myself for being too lazy to drive five hours and missing a killer set.  The only thing that might prevent me is my job at this point, which leads to an interesting question...do I schedule my gen chem classes at 8 and 9 am just so I can leave early one weekend for the show?

Fuck no, that's too early.
