I'm glad that As I Am made its returned, but since it's such a strong opener, it's a little strange to see it as the closer of the set.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I'm surprised to see Forsaken and Misunderstood, when there is no Wither.

They could easily replace Wither for one of those two, power-ballad-esque, songs.
The time is not right for Wither. That will be next year.

That's the second time I've seen Forsaken described as a power ballad, and it really confuses me as I don't see anything remotely ballady about it. It strikes me as more like AROP (I've always thought of AROP as a kinda cross between CM and Forsaken).

Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.

Well, I don't listen to Forsaken on a regular basis, but I guess it has to do with the placing on the album.
It's kind of a restpoint in between ITPOE 1, and CM. Maybe the song itself is not ballady, but the songs around it are heavy.

I shall listen to it again today, as a standalone track.

Really? I'm very surprised that's it's been an (almost) regular fixture on all 4 tours since it was released. It could do with a rest in my opinion.

I've seen it at 4 of the 5 DT shows I've been to. :(

I very much hope I don't see it again in October.

Yeah I'd definitely say that was one of the weaker sets, with Forsaken and As I Am in it.

I don't understand why they are playing a lot of the same songs from last year's PN.  Friday night I saw BTL, Erotomania, and Voices, all played from the second night of PN in NYC last year.  I don't want any of these songs tonight in NYC same with Forsaken and As I Am.  Solitary Shell alone made up for those songs on Friday night, and then INTOG was amazing.

Agreed.  I think I can say despite my bias towards it because it was the show I saw, the Boston show I think had the best overall setlist.  I'm glad I chose the Boston show over the others I had a chance to go to.

Yeah same here. Even if it was Metropolis and TCOT it would have been the best, but ITNOG just made it so much better.

I'm pretty sure we won't get As I Am in London this time. It was played in 2005 and 2007, and in Southampton, which is fairly close to London, this year.

Fingers crossed for a third European leg where it's just DT and one other band. Or just a one-off London Evening With show where they play the AA saga in full.  :tup

They may not bring out The Glass Prison until at least in Europe in the fall by itself. I'm sure we'll see the 12-step performed together starting probably in Australia/New Zealand since they are the nearest headlining dates right now.

I don't understand why they are playing a lot of the same songs from last year's PN.
They're playing the same songs in some citites because they probably didn't hit those ones in the last PN.
