They are played tonight in Philadelphia, right?

If so, then we get Dream Theater in a hour and a half.

I wonder if Take The Time will be played in Minnesota or since that was last years set that we won't

not suer what you mean by that last part. they haven't played it here since 2006, so it's likely.
What I meant was that it was part of Chaos in Motion and 2008's prog nation set so it wouldn't be played this year. Sorry, I worded it badly

Dallas got both Take The Time and Metropolis back in '07. I wonder what they'll be playing for their pre-encore/encores when they hit that area (and others) again in the spring. IE, their pre-encores/encores at this point in time are either TCOT/Metropolis or TTT/TCOT. And since they don't like repeating themselves, well....

(They'll probably just play As I Am or Pull Me Under and be done with it, but personally I'd love to see any of the songs that made up Schmedley Wilcox show up again at some point. Might not happen this tour though, sad to say).

They repeated Misunderstood in Orlando from 2008 to 2009. So you could get a repeat.

Yeah. Then again, there was a difference between the two. In 2008, they didn't play the chaotic ending at the end, but this year, last week actually, they did in fact play the entire distorted ending. I wonder if that counts as being different. ???

Epic setlist. The way the setlists are trending, they're alternating between Metropolis and TCOT as the encore. Specifically, they are playing TTT into TCOT, or TCOT into Metropolis.

That's why I loved the Miami show. I got to see Metropolis, so I can die a happy man, and was in the first crowd to thee TCoT live!

But these sets seem really short sometimes.

Just came back from the philly show.

1. A Nightmare to Remeber
2. A Rite of Passage
3. Hollow Years
4. Erotomania
5. Voices
6. Prophets of War
7. The Count of Tuscany

encore:
Metropolis

Everything started around 7:15 PM i think.  Overall it was a pretty crazy night. I was right infront of petrucci the whole time and i caught a pick at the end :) I dont think it is the pick that he used tho i think he tossed a bunch of cheaper picks.  I also shook JP,JM and JRs hand after the show and just saying thanks and stuff. A thing that I noticed was that Labrie entered too early in Prophets of War and Jordan gave a really pissed off look... but i mean these things happen.  Another thing that I think the whole concert noticed was that the curtain didnt open when the band started ANTR :) It took about 20 seconds for a bunch of guys to bring that thing down.

The band seemed pretty tired but i mean its obviously understandable. Even im tired after being there from 5:30-12:15 AM.

Fantastic show!

Epic set and epic night from Petrucci. Tuscany is so good live and goes by in like 2 minutes. Metropolis 07 is awesome. James was ridiculously loud which made me uncomfortable at first, but I eased into it when I realized how on he was (Voices... OMG). DT crowds need to wake up, though  ;)

If there's one thing that I wasn't expecting to see, it's Dream Theater being out-classed musically by an opening act. I love ya, DT, but I gotta hand it to Zappa Plays Zappa for actual performing despite DT still being my favorite performance of the night.

Ha, I'm jealous. I wasn't really close enough to see if Jordan was pissed off or not.

That curtain not falling during ANTR- classic! Also, I now understand why the "woah" is TCoT is the wa it is. Initially, I thought it should be higher, and that James should hit an f#. After seeing it live, I realized that it's much better lower as it gives the crowd a way to sing along. One of the bests parts of the evening, without a doubt.
