Given that POW seems like it is going to be in regular rotation, I'm glad I'm not going to PN.  But the rest of these sets looks mostly very good.

Agreed, PoW is the only weak point in this song pool so far.  I'm really pulling for the Tampa setlist tomorrow.

I'm actually saying yay to the inclusion of POW, just cuz it's a refreshing random curveball in their setlists. It's probably a fun live song anyway, even if the song itself sucks. My reason for the "almost-perfect" setlist is actually Sacrificed Sons, for the most part a pretentious bore in a live setting. At least it was at the Score show.

Despite Prophets Of War being in there, that's a damn good setlist. I'm looking forward to PN.

I think POW is one of those songs that'll benefit from being played live. I'm indifferentish to the studio version, but I can imagine it being amazing live.

I'm not a big fan of Prophets of War either myself, but I really liked how it played live today.

I was in the third row, standing floor, Petrucci-side, and the VIP section was right next to me.  There was a guy standing across the VIP railing from me that got the entire show on handheld video camera, so that may surface on the bootleg arena soon.  There were a few points where he was struggling to get around the guy in front of him's hands though.

I met them backstage after the show and informed Jordan that we could see the bottom half of his setlist copy from the camera angle used on the Jumbotron.

It was an awesome set list... I don't  :heart POW... but it was alright live... The extended Solitary Shell was amazing... and as was the end of Take the Time... I would have liked to have hard something off of Awake, but in this short set, I think they did very well...  :metal

The fact that TDOE seems to be in constant rotation now makes me worried that I'll have to see it when they're on their headlining tour leg in Europe next year (if that happens).

^ this.

and david tennant is an amazing doctor, and has benefitted from marvelous storytelling (the series 3 run of eps 11-13 were amazing), they always say that you never forget your first doctor, and while i grew up with tom baker and peter davison, christopher eccleston is and will always be, my doctor.

(to the peter davison fan:  search for a video from a few christmases ago that the who crew shot for a children's benefit that features both tennant and davison in the tardis.  also, in the episode "the doctor's daughter" from s4, genny is played by peter davison's daughter :))

I definitely have to agree that POW is excellent live.  What was one of my least favorite songs on one of my least favorite albums is suddenly awesome.  The chants during the chorus ("FIND THE TRUTH"etc..) were absolutely awesome, as the lyrics to those parts were shown on the screen so just about everyone in the Atlanta crowd was chanting along.

Hey everyone...Im going to the philly show on friday and am just wondering how the show is laid out.  It starts at 7, so I am assuming the line up looks something like this...

Scale the Summit - 7-7:30

Bigelf - 7:45-8:15

Zappa - 8:30 - 9:30

DT - 9:50 - 11:20

?

it's actually one of my least favorite dt songs.  i respect the sentiment and know the feeling (i live near the pentagon and my brother lived in manhattan at the time), but as a song, quite frankly, it makes me fairly uncomfortable.  if they play it at merriweather, i'll listen to it and hope that it resonates more with me seeing it live, but frankly, will enjoy the setlist more without it.
