I went to three different booths and they only had one style of DT shirt(which I bought) but then later on there was a guy in front of me with a different one from this tour. It had all the dates on the back and something in blue I couldn't make out on the front....I was envious...I woulda bought that one too.
I have that t-shirt you are describing. I bought it at the Newport Music Hall show in Columbus last Friday. I'm not sure if the fact that show was a headlining show that it had anything to do with the merch for DT.

These were the only two shirts they were selling at Bluesfest:

Yes that top one is it.
Three different booths only had the bottom one..which I purchased.

Where was that top one found?
I was there before most of the crowds.

Quebec show tonight :metal It's fucking hot in here (104°F), but it's gonna be an awesome. There should be around 80 000 to 100 000 by the end of the show. That'll be amazing.  :metal :metal :metal :metal

Oh yeah, it was at the booth at the back (furthest from the MBNA stage) with a bunch of CDs and a hoodie as well. *shrugs*

Nic35

Oh my fucking god. What a show it was. 80 000 fucking people screaming for Dream Theater during the entire show. I just can't believe how much we were. According to MP's twitter : hmm...we may have a new biggest/best crowd...

Setlist :
As I Am
A Rite Of Passage
Home
Constant Motion
Panic Attack
Pull Me Under/Metropolis w/ Improv Jam

In the middle of the instrumental section of Metropolis, JR did a continuum solo and then took his Zen Riffer and did a duel with JP that finished with a crazy unison that rocked as fuck.

setrataeso

We didn't even get Metropolis.
They just ended at Pull Me Under.

Also,

ITS NOT TRUE

Nic35

:D There were people bodysurfing during their set and there was a slam in front of me (which is fucking gay)

Here's the video footage of Pull Me Under/Metropolis w/ Improv Jam (starts at 6:15).

perfey

Wow, that's a lot of people. It's nice to hear that DT is so well recevied by the Iron Maiden fans.

setrataeso

Yeah, the Ottawa crowd was very receptive by the end.

PlaysLikeMyung

DT setlist is the same as most of the others for last night

I got both of those :)  The one with all of the albums blended is easily the most amazing shirt I've ever seen.

Setlist for July 14th in Pittsburgh was as follows:

As I Am
Rite of Passage
Home
Constant Motion
Panic Attach
Pull Me Under

Nick

I was somewhat critical going in on the setlist, but after seeing it twice I have to say it was pretty much perfect. Everyone reacted well to everything, and it all worked better than Mirror/Lie would have, and even though I would have preferred other material I did really enjoy Panic Attack and Constant Motion this time around. Pull Me Under got a *really* good reception, which I wasn't expecting.

Nic35

I'm feeling special because we are the only city that got a different set during the IM tour :D

Aside from the headlining shows...

That's why I said during the IM tour ;)

"Paschendale" instead of "Dance Of Death"?
Pull Me Under/Metropolis w/ Improv Jam instead of Pull Me Under

Pull Me Under/Metropolis w/ Improv Jam instead of Pull Me Under

Ew. I hate when they do that.

Elsydeon

I kind of prefer them as two separate songs myself. The beginning build up in metropolis is just so epic. And pull me under is .... Well .. Pull me under.

If my calculations are correct, A Rite of Passage will be played 104 times this tour, the same number of times that Constant Motion was played on the SC tour. Interesting (and useless) fact there.

Well hold on...it's not entirely useless...

104... 1 + 0 + 4 = 5
104 / 8 = 13... 13 = 5 + 8

My calculations say 103. 105 if it gets played at both Asian festival shows.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was off by 1...

cyberdrummer

Well that's that tour over and just two more DT shows to go this year. I expect a very similar setlist.

cyberdrummer

So when will we see the start of the Evening With tour that MP promised? Late 2011/early 2012 I guess.

I'm sooo excited for it. I'm also excited to see the twelve-step suite live.

I'm concerned now. Mike said in an interview that "as of now, there are no 'Evening With' tours in the works".

MP did say they were ready to do another Evening With. Their Black Clouds Tour was relatively short in terms of setlists, so MP thinks next round is DT's.

Elsydeon

As I understand, they are going to put out a new album next year and then tour with an evening with format. I would assume fall 2011

This makes sense, assuming you mean put out the album in Fall or later, and then have the majority of the touring take place in 2012.
