I'm still thinking about going to the Munich concert. And thanks for doing this again. :)

So is the progressive nation tour the only touring they will be doing in Europe? It looks like it from those dates.. :sadpanda:

cyberdrummer

Well these are the only dates announced so far. But I suspect (and hope) that they will do a headlining leg (i.e one opening act) next year.

That has been pretty much confirmed. I think Portnoy said it would be a springtime run through the states with either one or two opening acts.

cyberdrummer

Yeah, for the US definitely, but I was talking about Europe, which is slightly less certain. It depends if the band wants to keep the 'an album every two years' routine. But you never know, they did three European legs in 2002.

Nick

Oh, sorry. Yeah, it's a big question. Normally lately they've been doing two legs, one that's festivals and some off dates and then a major headlining tour. Now instead of the latter they are doing ProgNation, so it will be interesting to see if that's it or if Europe gets a third leg.

Can we sticky this thread again? I know it's not really necessary right now with the small number of threads, but it might be useful in the future.

I'm actually considering a summer trip to the US to see a Prog Nation show. I'd love to see Pain of Salvation and meeting some of you heh!

You should totally fly to the north-east.

It all depends, but maybe  :heart

I will make this deal. I'm planning on seeing about 3 shows on the tour, you get your ass up to this area and I'll make sure you get to all the shows with me and you have a place to stay between them.

Summer US dates??????

Yes plz.

A lot of people (especially over at MP.com) have been wondering when these dates will arrive. People needed to plan their vacation for the summer, and now they're praying that their particular PN dates don't mess with their new vacation dates.

Personally, I want them to come near Philly this time around. Though I would happily head to NY if it came down to it

So it's settled, then. We'll talk of this later :dammitnick:

PlaysLikeMyung

I think me and my buddy will be driving to DC. Cuz I'm sure as hell not waiting a full year to see DT

ddtonfire

I guess I didn't paste that there's going to be a second batch of tourdates soon.

yeah i know there is going to be another tour but I wanted to go to Prog Nation to also see ZPZ and PoS...

Nick

No, there are more PROGNATION tour dates coming, give it a week or two.

OsMosis2259

my fault i didnt see that there was a big gap between some dates...

hopefully a philly date between the 4th and 11th

Adami

So basically, east coast, west coast, canada and a few spot shows in the middle?

Weak.

What's weaker? The closest show is chicago, which is on a day of school that I can't miss.

So I am actually considering dropping the class so that I can attend this.

Damn you gildenlow for making me want to see your band so much!

If I drop my class to see this show, and PoS get 30 minutes to play, I might explode in rage and fury.

Damn, I hope they hook us up with another tour close after this one in the USA,  I feel that we are getting a bit shafted here.  So many European shows and so few Home Root shows.
