Let me introduce my band THE END OF ALL REASON to DTF.

We're a Belgian five piece band that started out as a Metalcore project back in 2004.
As time passed on, our style evolved towards modern Death Metal (illustrated in the 2008 EP
"FRAGMENTED"
Three of the 5 tracks on the EP followed a storyline about a war between man and machine (don't worry, we didn't rip off Symph. X's latest album since that one was released in 2011). It was a first attempt to create a lyrical concept and we wanted to exceed that with the next album.
Back in 2009 we started writing our first full length album
" ARTIFACTS".
A full blown concept was written. The story is about a virus on Earth surviving for thousands of years and finding it's way to humans living in outer space colonies many years later, long after planet Earth has been abandonned.
"ARTIFACTS" was recorded in 2010 and features guest drums by none other than the inhuman Dave Haley from PSYCROPTIC (due to us not having a drummer at the time).
Also, naming our style simply modern death metal would be too compact.. We have our share of balls to the wall, brutality in most of the songs, but on the new one, there's more to it than meets the eye... Small references to the previous EP, a 10+ minute epic that is more prog metal oriented, some ethnic stuff..
After all, some of us are huge Dream Theater fans!
So basically 'till then, everything went well...
Untill we sent our recordings to 'a known producer (who will remain nameless)' in L.A. for mixing and got f¨cked over so hard it cost us 1 year to get our money back and had us depressed and demotivated for another year.
All of the money invested came from our own pockets and it hurt. A lot.
A lot of time and momentum was lost, we almost called it quits, and so on...
Anyway, it's fine now. Our dear friend Jochem (from the ducth band TEXTURES) was kind enough to take over the mixing job.
As of now, we're ready to tour again. In exactly TWO days, a new single will drop!
