Spheric Universe Experience -- The New Eve
« on: August 29, 2012, 06:46:22 PM »
This Prog Metal band from France is out on 9/11/12 with a brand new album. They have released two singles in support of the new release

The Day I Died: A very nice radio friendly metal song. Not too much prog, but it is well made.

The New Eve: Holy shit, now you're talkin! Heavy, progressive, time signature changes, blast beats, and a short solo or two.

Check them out. Day I died is on Soundcloud and The New Eve is on Noisecreep.

Really looking forward to this album more than ever!! RAWWK!
Sun, come shine my way, make healing waters bury all my pain. Wind, carry me home. The fabric of reality is tearing apart. The piece of me that died, will return, to live again. And at last the time has come, to unite again as one. To the power of the Earth, I'm calling. Crossing bridges in the sky, on the journey to renew my life. Shaman, take my haaaaaand!

i havent given them much of a chance yet...i recall liking them but dont remember their songs none too well aside from the instrumentals, which made it onto some frequented playlists.

I tried one of their albums (I think on a last.fm recommendation).  Wasn't bad, but it didn't WOW me.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

This is one of those bands that I feel like I really should like them, but for some reason their music just never seems to really grab me and stay with me.  I have a few of their albums and to be honest I couldn't name a single one of their songs if someone asked me to.
