Okay.....Anyone Been To Turks and Caicos?

I guess no one here has been to St. Barths. Sooooo, how about Turks and Caicos? Second leg of my trip. Looking for dining suggestions, and fun things to do besides drink and soak up rays. Anyone?

It's on our "places to dive list"  We mostly stay in the Latin Caribbean.  Looks nice, but a lil pricey.  You doing a cruise I assume?

I've been there, but I was 17  and stayed with my family at one of those all inclusive resorts.  They touted their scuba diving spots as some of the best in the world.  I wound up not being able to equalize the pressure in my ears, so I hung out on the surface while everyone else dove.  I did get a visit from a dolphin, however.  The beaches were very nice and I remember the trip well.  Not sure what else is happening on the rest of the island.

What are your likes?  Do you dive?  Beaches?  Exploring?  I know there is some awesome diving there.  Even if you're not certified, if the idea interests you, you can do what they call a "Dive Discovery".  Let me know if that might interest you... if so I'll research some of my contacts and sources for you.

My wife is certified to dive. I am not. I'm not really a water guy. There will be about six couples and out of that group I think 4 people dive. Other than time at the pool and a private cove I expect large quantities of wine and spirits will be consumed. Not sure what else to expect. A couple of us like to investigate and meet people and experience the local flair.  It's not something everyone gets a chance to do back home very often.

And I have a birding guide so I'm set. But if you have a good dive company you can suggest that would be great.

My wife's aunts and uncles go every year. They all love it. They are actually all going again in another week or two.

Best I can tell is it's on the Island of Providenciales.  As far as diving, looks like some 45-1 hour long boat rides to sites from there.  Going by a quick Trip Advisor search, Flamingo Divers might be an option and they are rated very well.
