Beastie Boys Appreciation Thread
« on: August 27, 2012, 07:09:23 PM »
So I just got my first Beastie Boys album, Hello Nasty and I love it. The time was way overdue for me to get into this band and I'm glad I finally did.

I remember the good old days back in 98, watching Intergalactic constantly on The Box. One of my favorite songs/videos ever.

Anybody else into the Beastie Boys?

Huge Beasties fan right here. I've got all their records. My favorite is To the Five Boroughs, there's some real dope stuff on that CD. They were one of the only bands that I really wanted to see live. Needless to say that I was absolutely CRUSHED when I heard that MCA passed.

"Back in the 20th century, I had all 5 of your albums."

"That was a thousand years ago! Now we got 7."

I love the Beastie Boys. Paul's Boutique is a masterpiece.

Rest in peace MCA.

Have been slowly but surely getting into the Beastie Boys, I've got Licensed To Ill, Hello Nasty, and, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 and I've absolutely loved them all.

It was really shitty to hear about MCA, I knew about his cancer I just always thought he would be able to beat it.

Besides Fight For Your Right, I'm not a fan. I despise Intergalactic.

This an appreciation thread, not a hate thread. We don't need any negativity here.

Love those Beasties. Paul Revere has got to be my favorite song by them

Intergalactic and Sabotage are great songs.
Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.
